New Officials Appointed to CBSE, CPCB, DDA, UPSC and other Ministries

The Ministry of Personnel has changed the responsibilities of about two dozen officers at the level of Secretary, Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary, making changes in the top bureaucracy.  New heads of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) and DDA (Delhi Development Authority) have been appointed.  Many of these have been promoted to new positions.  Many officers have been deployed to the center, calling from the states.

Special Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Sanjeeva Kumar has been made the Secretary of the Department of Border Management in the Ministry of Home Affairs. Vasudha Mishra, who was Special Secretary in the Agriculture Department has been made Secretary of UPSC(United Public Service Commission).

Rakesh Sarwal, Additional Secretary posted in the Ministry of Human Resource Development, has been posted as Additional Secretary in NITI(National Institute for Transforming India) Aayog whereas S.S.  Kishore has been made the additional secretary in the Ministry of Commerce. Anurag Jain from MP cadre has been appointed as vice-president of DDA while Devendra Kumar Singh from Kerala cadre has been made Additional Secretary in the department of Small Scale Industries. Shivdas Meena, who was serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development has been made the Chairman of the Central Pollution Control Board.

Similarly, Manoj Ahuja, posted as Special Director at Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy Mussoorie, has been appointed as the Chairman of CBSE.  Aarti Ahja, posted at Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy, has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Health.  Similarly, Ashok Kumar from TR cadre and Nivedita Shukla Verma from UP cadre have been appointed as Additional Secretaries in Ministry of Defense.
