Schools are given affiliation by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in accordance with the Affiliation Bylaws of the Board. No agency or official or advisor or any other individuals are appointed by the Board to accomplish this task. For this reason, if a school is approached by an agency or advisor for Board Affiliation, do not get misled, be cautious.
It is to be known that these days many schools and agencies are being falsely approached by some agencies for affiliation in the name of CBSE. The agency is cheating schools in the name of online affiliation. The board has issued advisory after several schools have brought this information to the board. All the regional offices have been instructed to alert schools regarding this. It is to be known that every year the Board provides affiliation to new schools and renews the affiliations of old schools. Recently the board released the date for application for affiliation.
CBSE Released Advisory
1. Misleading and false messages regarding Affiliation are being circulated through e-mails/whatsapp.
2. The Board has neither appointed any advisor nor any agency for the Affiliation process.
3. The Central Board of Secondary Education has clarified that the affiliations are provided to schools on the basis of norms and clauses mentioned in Affiliation Bye-Laws, 2018.
4. The Board has told the stakeholders not to act on the basis of such false claims.
5. The stakeholders and the general public should visit the official website of CBSE or refer to the Affiliation By-Laws for the Board's affiliation process.
6. The Board has warned those mischievous elements involved in such illegal activities to stop doing such activities otherwise it shall be free to take necessary steps and measures as per the provisions of law.
