But the recent interview of the Central Minister of Human Resource Development (H.R.D), Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank made a full stop on these speculations/ guesses. HRD Minister Mr. Pokhriyal said that the schools and colleges are going to be reopened from the month of August. Mr. Nishank told in an interview that if the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) permits, the schools and colleges may reopen after 15th of August.
Schools and Colleges to be reopened from August
Due to the prevailing spread of Corona Virus in India, the country went into frequent Lockdowns. But before that almost all schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutes were closed across the country to prevent the students, teachers and other staff members from the infection of Corona Virus.
Even the Exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other State Boards were postponed out of which many were cancelled. But the declaration of the new dates (1 to 15 July) for the remaining exams of CBSE Class 10th (North- East Delhi only) and Class 12th (All India) followed by the release of date sheet and the additional announcement of
Unlock 1.0 gave people a chance to make speculations for the reopening of schools, colleges and other educational institutions.
CBSE Results to be Declared by Mid- August
In the same interview, the HRD Minister, Mr. Ramesh showed expectations that the results of CBSE Class 10th and 12th Exams, including the Pending Examinations (which are to be held in July) for session 2019-2020 might be declared by 15th August. Let us know that the rescheduled pending examinations would end on 15th July. So, the results should be expected in the mid-August. So, the new session should be expected to start after 15th August, 2020.
Entrance Exams to be Held Soon
Due to the prevailing conditions of the Corona Crisis and the frequent Lockdowns, the entrance exams for admissions in schools, colleges and other competitive courses were postponed. The students are in a lot of pressure and anxiety about their mew academic session, especially their admissions. The Union Minister said that the Government will not let the COVID-19 Pandemic to destroy a precious year of students. Mr. Pokhriyal said that the Government has decided to conduct various Entrance Examinations maintaining Social Distancing and other necessary norms. Since the number of candidate students are high, the Government is taking all necessary steps to ensure safety and security of students.
